Good rules make good friends

  1. Games are 9 innings or 2.5 hours, which ever comes first.

  2. No new top of innings to be started within 10 minutes of scheduled game end.

  3. 4 innings constitutes an official game (3.5 innings if home team leads).

  4. 10 run mercy rule applies after 5 innings (4.5 innings if home team leads).

  5. The tournament is a wood bat league. The bat shall be a smooth, round stick not more than 2.61 inches in diameter at the thickest part and not more than 42 inches in length. The bat shall be wood, wood composite or wood laminate only.

  6. No runner for the catcher.

  7. All pitchers must adhere to the mandatory rest period and pitch limits, as outlined below

  8. In the event of two or more teams finishing on an equal win/loss percentage, placings shall be awarded on a head to head basis.  Should this not resolve the issue, the following formula will be used to separate tied teams:

RUNS ALLOWED RATIO = Total Runs Against (in pool) divided by games played rounded to 3 decimal places.

If this fails to resolve the tie, the calculation is repeated using only the results from games between the teams involved in the tie.

  9. Each player on the roster must play 81 defensive outs.
